Each month Big Valley Mortgage donates to the Active 20/30 Club #1 and #1032 of Greater Sacramento.
The Active 20/30 of Sacramento was founded in 1922. The club’s objective is to serve the community while building lasting friendships and rendering service to youth. The organization differs from many service organizations in that not only do they raise money for needy charities, but they also insist on “hands on” interaction. They serve the children of Sacramento through direct contributions ranging from approximately $50,000 to $100,000 annually. The distribution of these monies is voted on by the membership as a whole. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from fundraisers go to local children’s charities.
Past beneficiaries include: Big Brothers, Big Sisters, United Way, Family Service Agency, Sacramento Children’s Home, Oncology Ward in Sutter Memorial Hospital, Special Olympics, Society for the Blind, B Street Theater and many others.
